The title of this blog, Christian for Moses, is a deliberate play on the (in)famous Jews for Jesus. While I am not really aware of how they came up with their name, they obviously felt the need to express an otherwise, seemingly impossible combination.
This blog too, expressses a combination that is not very common; that of someone who started out as an ardent believer/follower in Jesus but who has overtime come to appreciate the religion of Jesus more than the religion that is [to a large extent] about him.
Several factors played a role in this development, though mainly it was the realization that it is the right context for interpreting his life and teachings. But overtime, it was because Judaism, considered on its own, is, in my opinion, authentic, inspiring, and can truly enrich one’s devotion to the Almighty.
Its strongly developed [oral] tradition is what I believe bridges the gap between the Hebrew Bible and todays life, without which, it is hard to extract guidance on living a life in line with the demands of the God of Israel.
The blog is largely a reflection of this process and contains my developing and unfinished thoughts about these issues.
Thanks for stopping by and feel free to comment .

I appreciate your balance and appreciation for Judaism.
